Annapurna Region

Pisang Peak

Pisang Peak lies North of Manang valley in the Annapurna region at a height of 6091 meters. The western flank of the mountain is guraded by a hanging glacier and offers considerable challenge. This Pisang Peak Climbing Expedition offers gorgeous views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna and more.

We follow the classic route of Annapurna Circuit trek to climb this Pisang peak. Pisang peak offers good scope for exploration. The western end of the ridge is guarded by huge rock slabs which make it difficult to climb. Our trip starts going through Marshayangdi river valley passing through beautiful village and landscape and heading toward the alpine zone and snow and ice covered giant Pisang peak and descend to Manang and slowly climb again to cross over the classical Thorung la pass and descent down to Kaligandaki valley via the most popular and sacred place of Muktinath and a spectacular flight back from Jomsom.
