Nepal: A Timeless Adventure in the Heart of the Himalayas

Nepal is a landlocked country situated in South Asia, bordered by China to the north and India to the south, east, and west. Travelers come to Nepal for seeking out the rich flora and fauna, mountains, and architecture that Nepal has to offer. A land of ancient history, breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted people. Nepal is a country that offers a tapestry of natural beauty, rich culture, and deep spiritual significance. Nepal is incredibly diverse in terms of geography. The country is typically divided into three distinct regions: the Himalayas, hilly, and the Terai.

The country is home to 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world, including Mount Everest (8,848 meters), the tallest mountain on Earth. This high-altitude region attracts mountaineers, trekkers, and adventure seekers from all over the world. The Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, is another iconic landmark in the capital, offering panoramic views of the city.

In Nepal, we celebrate many festivals among which Dashain, Tihar, and Holi are some of the most widely celebrated by Hindu, while Buddha Jayanti marks the birth, enlightenment, and death anniversary of Lord Buddha. These festivals are filled with rituals, music, dance, and feasts that highlight Nepal’s deep-rooted cultural and spiritual heritage and there has a living god named Kumari, specially Newari people worship her in every Indra Jatra.
