This is a very popular tour combining three days of Chaluna Trek. The tour takes you to some of the beautiful sites of Paro and Thimpu including the most famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest) and the trek is moderately strenuous and goes to High Altitude. You can come across diverse Flora as you pass through the ridge of the Mountain and you can see the beautiful view of the Himalayas around. It starts from Paro near the Museum and ends in Chaluna, Thimphu.
The flight into Paro, Druk Air, is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of the country. In clear weather, magnificent views of the world’s highest peaks, give way to the lush green Paro valley as you land. Your guide will greet you on arrival, and then drive you the short distance to the hotel.

Built in 1647 by the great Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, father and unifier of medieval Bhutan, the Dzong was destroyed by accidental fire and left in ruins as an evocative reminder of the great victories it was built to commemorate. Explore the ramparts and on a clear day experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m). On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan king Srongsen Gampo. Dinner and overnight.Height: 2280m

I had a wonderful time trekking the Tamang Heritage Trail with Highlander Nepal. Our guide and porter were highly professional and experienced. The views on the trail are amazing, and I highly recommend both Highlander Trekking & Expedition and the Tamang /Langtang region.
It was wow experience to be in the team for ABC trekking. Weather was not so good, but my bad, can't blame on that to Highlander. All the best for the team and hopefully I could manage EBC next year.
We, a team of 15 friends from Norway, are very pleased by Highlander’s very good guiding and service during our trekking. We reached the base camp on October 24. Great experience and fantastic scenery!

We will definitely have Nepal with fond memories of Nepal, the Nepalese people and the excellent service of Highlander.
