This tour is ideal for those devout pilgrims who are short on time OR cannot undertake the grueling journey over the Tibetan plateau due to age or other health factors. They will fly on Fixed Wing aircrafts operated by a private airline Kathmandu / Nepalgunj / Simikot and Nepalgunj / Kathmandu sector. The chopper meets the group at Simikot and ferries the client to Hilsa. The land cruisers drive over a week from Lhasa to meet the group at Sher and drop them back to Sher. As you can see the logistics have to be carefully planned and the tours booked at least 3 weeks in advance.

Tour Cancellation policy :
• All notice of cancellation must be sending us in written mail or fax. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
• 20 days before trip departure 10% of total trip cost,
• 15 days before trip departure 50% of total trip cost,
• 10 days before trip departure 90% of total trip cost.
• 7 days and less departure 100% of total trip cost. .

Risk and Liabilities :
• We always effort to make your journey smooth and pleasant. However as all the Tibet tours and treks are run strictly under Tibet Tourism Bureau. Highlander or it’s Tibet counterpart agent shall not be responsible for any alternation or cancellation of program due to any unavoidable circumstances beyond our control such as road blockade, landslide, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, technical of chopper, delay arrival, sickness, accident, visa rejection of Chinese authorities. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spot. Since you are traveling most remote place of the world and road are very rough and bumpy.
• We highly advised to the clients to have full insurance against health, helicopter evacuation and trip cancellation risk.
• Highlander have right to cancel or postpone the trip without cancellation fee if group size is not form qualify to operate i.e. 15 pax.
