Highlander has embarked on new trekking routes in Nepal to explore the richness of nature and culture and of course to show the reality of Nepali daily life. We have few selected off the beaten trekking packages in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan Sikkim and Ladakh.

Kailash Manasarovar Yatra for the Indian Pilgrimage  (16 Days)

Kailash Mandela is also considered Mount Sumeru in Buddhism and Hinduism. Pious Hindus look upon Kailash as heaven or throne of Mahadeva - the great God Shiva. Pilgrimage to holy Mount Kailash assures rebirth in Shiva’s paradise. A pilgrimage journey made to this holy site assures freedom from sins of a lifetime. Mount Kailash and Manasarovar are rooted in antiquity dating back to Vedic era. Manasarovar is believed to have originated from the mind of lord Brahma; hence called Manas-Sarovar. Muktinath by Helicopter  (04 days)

It is believed that all miseries / sorrows are relieved once you visit this temple (Mukti = Nirvana or status of Liberty / Free, Nath = God). The famous temple of Lord Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang and is situated about 18 km northeast of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3800 meter. The main shrine is a pagoda shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Sets into the wall around it are 108 waterspouts from which pour holy water. Ganesh Himal Trek  (14 Days))

This trekking area lies on the central eastern region of Nepal. This region offers spectacular views, untouched natural, splendour, wild and friendly inhabitants. The Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. The Ganesh Himal can clearly be seen from Kathmandu Valley. Eco Trek in Chepang Hill  (5 days)

Roshan’s Friends eco-trek 5 days. When going on this interesting trek you can help the local population in two villages. We have especially targeted the uppermost village in Chepang Gaun (1,700 Meters).The first day is travel by bus for 4 hours west. When we arrive, local porters from Chepang Gaun are there to help us.

 

Everest High Pass Trek (20 days)

Kathmandu fly to Lukla (2700 m) and trek to Phakding (2600m), 4 hours and overnight in tents. Phakding trek to Namche (3440m) 6 hours and overnight in tents. Namche rest day (Day hike to Khumjung village) 3 hours overnight in tents.

Simikot to Kailash & Manasarovar Trek with Central Tibet Tour (24 days)
