GANESH HIMAL - SINGLA TOP TREK - 8
DAYS
You do not have enough time but still wants your
dreams to come true? Then the Ganesh
Himal-Singla Top Trek could be for you, with
dramatic nature passing through a number of
unspoiled villages, unbelievable culture and
magnificent Mountain View.
Ganesh Himal- Singla Top trek, which we call
nature trek , lies on the central region of
Nepal and Northern side of Kathmandu, offering
spectacular views, untouched splendor nature and
getting in contact with lots of ethnic culture.
After we take a bus ride out of the valley and
cross over the hills, the first glimpse of
Ganesh Himal greets us. After 6-7 hours bus ride
we reach at the trek starting point Sole Bazzar
(town). We spend the first night of our outdoor
adventure right nearby the River at Sole Bazzar.
Our Guide gives a short lesson of trekking on
the first night. He also explains about the
altitude sickness and all the beautiful spots
from where you can have an excellent view of
mountains.
During the trek, we observe the different ways
of inhabitation, and come in contact with
different people following various caste, creed
and culture, and thereby pass through the dense
forest. TheSingla Top {3800 Meters} offers an
excellent view of the massif Ganesh Himal
(7406m),Langtang (7300m), Manaslu
(8163m),Annapurna, Fishtail, and more. On the
last day of the trip we take a bus ride back to
Kathmandu from Deurali where we spend the final
night of our trip. |

|
Day 01 : KATHMANDU DRIVE TO SOLE
BAZAAR (TOWN)
It takes about
6-7 hrs scenic drive from Kathmandu to reach
Sole Bazaar. Sole is a small village having
mixed culture. We Enjoy the first overnight in
tent under the stars next to the river bank.
Driving: 6-7 Hours (Kathmandu to Sole bazaar)
Height: 1350 M (Kathmandu), 700M (Sole bazaar)
DAY 02: Sole- Kispang (APPROX. 1900M)
Wake up under the
sky and get ready for the first walking day of
your trek.
Uphill walk through villages takes us to Kispang
village, You will enjoy mountains and mixed
ethnic cultural diversity of Kispang village.
Walking: 5/6 Hours
Height: 1900 M
DAY 03: Kispang-Gonga
Gradually Uphill
walk through dense forest takes you to the
peaceful camping place called Gonga .You will
spend your second night at Gonga with beautiful
forest of Rhododendron {national flower of
Nepal}.
Walking: 7 Hours
Height: 2800 M
DAY 04: Gonga-Rupchet
Leaving the Gonga
and beautiful forest behind, we hike up hill to
Rupchet through mixed forest and camp in the
nature. Make your camera ready for the
magnificent mountain view of North-East face
that covers Langtang and Gosainkunda.
Walking: 5 Hours
Height: 3600 M
DAY 05: Rupchet-Singla Top-Rupchet-Thulo Chour
Get prepare to
hike uphill hike to the Singla Top{2 hours} to
have spectacular panoramic view of Annapurna,
Ganesh
Himal(7406m),Manaslu(8163m),Langtang(7300m),Gosaikinda,
Gorkha Himal, Lamjung Himal etc .After spending
30 to 45 minutes at the top to take photo snaps
of panoramic views , we will go downhill to the
camp again{1 hour}}. Then after having breakfast
at Rupchet we will again walk downhill till
Gonga{3 hours} and after having lunch at there,
we will again walk down to Thulo Chour{3 hours},
our next place to stay overnight.
Walking:8-9 Hrs
Height: Singla Top: 3800 meter; Thulo Chour:
2300 meters.
DAY 06: Thulo Chour-SALME
Gradually
downhill walk through forest and land terraces
takes us to Salme, another big Tamang village.
Walking: 4-5 Hours
Height: 1700 M (Salme)
DAY 07: SALME- DEURALI- 5 HRS, (APPROX.1300M)
Another big
Tamang village, Deurali could be reached from
Salme taking the downhill and uphill trails
through the forest and villages. We can check
out the local Buddhist monastery and snow camp
Mountain View. Keeping the mountains and
cultures in mind, we take our last sleep in the
outdoor adventure under the blue sky.
Walking: 5 -6 Hours
Height: 1300 M (Deurali)
DAY 08: DEURALI- KATHMANDU- 6 HRS, (APPROX.
1350M)
Scenic drive from
Deurali for about 6 hrs leaving the mountains on
the back takes us to the capital Kathmandu.
